Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Adelaide seeks an experienced Transport Engineer/Planner to join our Planning & Mobility (PAM) team. You will contribute to high‑profile transport projects across road, public transport, and active transport sectors, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to shape communities.

The role requires 3–5 years in transport engineering and planning, with strong report writing and client engagement skills. A SA focus and familiarity with local standards are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of transport engineering and planning experience.
• Experience with government or private clients in South Australia.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, Traffic Impact Assessment and Modelling Guidelines.
• Familiarity with SIDRA traffic modelling software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to support project delivery, proposals and pursuits.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Transport Engineer/Planner to join our Planning & Mobility (PAM) team in Adelaide. The team brings together expertise across transport planning, traffic engineering, intelligent transport systems, active transport, and transport modelling.

You will contribute to some of the most exciting and high-profile transport projects in Adelaide and across Australia, including road, public transport, active transport, freight and major infrastructure sectors. With a strong and sustained pipeline of work, this role offers exposure to complex, meaningful projects that shape communities.

About You

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in civil or Transport Engineering with between around 3-5 years of experience within transport engineering and planning.
• Experience working with government and/or private clients in South Australia.
• Knowledge of relevant local standards and guidelines, including Australian Standards, Traffic Impact Assessment, and transport Modelling Guidelines.
• Familiarity with traffic modelling software such as SIDRA.
• Strong communication skills, including technical report writing and client engagement.
• The ability to support project delivery, proposals, and pursuits.
