Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Transport Allocator role.
• Proven experience managing high-volume fleet movements and coordinating multiple drivers and vehicles simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating transport operations across both day and night shifts.
• Strong understanding of fleet utilisation, driver scheduling, delivery timeframes and transport logistics.
• Ability to make quick decisions, manage competing priorities and resolve operational issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily fleet allocations, ensuring efficient utilisation of drivers and vehicles.
• Monitoring vehicle movements and proactively managing delays, breakdowns and operational disruptions.
• Coordinating driver workloads and ensuring delivery schedules are maintained.
• Managing handovers between shifts to ensure continuity of operations.
• Communicating operational changes and priorities to drivers, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information to our internal teams and clients.
• Reviewing driver paperwork, ensuring all required information is present.
• Collaborating with the Operations and Safety teams to uphold our top-tier compliance and safety standards.
