ACCIONA is seeking an accomplished Design Manager, Transmission, to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of transmission line and substation designs across HV and MV infrastructure in Western Australia. You will drive technical consistency, manage risk and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-impact infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years leading HV transmission (220kV+) design, concept to detail.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE and AS/NZS standards.
• Ability to complete a successful pre-employment medical and National Crime check.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission line and substation design from concept to detail.
• Manage design interfaces across HV and MV infrastructure.
• Drive constructability, systems integration and technical governance.
• Oversee cost, schedule, design change and risk using CPI, SPI and EVM.
• Lead SiD, HAZID/HAZOP and CoM reviews and deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and build internal design capability.
• Manage external consultants and cross-functional communication.
