Job summary

Downer is seeking a Transition Analyst in Adelaide to analyse, document and redesign non-work order management activities across contracts, reporting to the Transition Manager, with a fixed-term contract through June 2027. You’ll map current and future state processes, develop workflows and RACI matrices, assess workloads, and support transition plans with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Business Analysis, Project Management, Process Improvement, or a related discipline (desirable).
• Experience in business process analysis, process mapping or operational improvement within contract, facilities management, health, education or service delivery environments.
• Strong capability in analysing complex operational activities and producing clear process maps, workflows, RACIs and operating model documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review non-work order management activities, identifying inefficiencies, process gaps, duplication and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, RACI matrices and supporting documentation.
• Assess workloads and responsibilities, support activity redistribution and help implement transition plans with minimal disruption.
• Facilitate workshops, build stakeholder relationships, achieve consensus and communicate process and ownership changes effectively.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, implementation plans, SOPs and governance documentation, while keeping process libraries current.
