Qualifications

• Experience in security, compliance, enforcement or transport roles.
• Strong communication skills to explain regulations clearly.
• Ability to manage confrontational and non-compliant behaviour.
• Customer service mindset and situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an Authorised Officer within the Sydney bus network, performing fare compliance and enforcement.
• Promote a safe, secure transport environment and engage with passengers professionally.
• Observe and assess passenger behaviour to identify safety or compliance risks.
• Respond calmly to incidents and apply de-escalation techniques.
• Provide high quality customer service while enforcing transport regulations.
• Complete accurate incident and daily reporting.
• Maintain professional presentation and comply with procedures.
