Job summary

Qantas Group in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Program Manager to steer a major Transformation Program on a fixed-term basis, covering parental leave. You’ll own the plan, drive delivery, and ensure the tech transformation roadmap stays on track.

Based in Adelaide or Mascot, you will partner with stakeholders across SA and NSW, establish governance, and lead cross-functional product teams that design, build and deliver digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in program and project delivery.
• Degree qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent delivery certifications are highly regarded.
• Proven track record leading large-scale delivery teams.
• Experience across PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, Hybrid delivery models, and Lean Portfolio Management.
• Capability to scale delivery practices in large, matrixed organisations.
• Experience with enterprise technology programs, risks, dependencies and benefits realisation.
• Strong portfolio oversight including prioritisation and sequencing of initiatives.
• Experience with delivery assurance, resource planning and tooling (Clarity/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Set standard delivery/frameworks, governance practices, and reporting.
• Own plan and sequence; hold stream leads to it; resolve dependencies.
• Manage risks, dependencies and budget; ensure cohesive outcomes.
• Lead stream leads to deliver their outcomes toward strategy.
• Influence outcomes across all workstreams and plan ambitious strategy.
