Job summary

Qantas is seeking a Delivery Lead to oversee agile squads across digital streams from Adelaide’s Product and Innovation Centre. You will coach teams, optimize delivery flow, and drive continuous improvement to deliver customer value and innovation.

The role focuses on planning delivery, mentoring agile maturity, and removing impediments to ensure timely value delivery. Based in Adelaide, you’ll help shape culture and ways of working at the new centre.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Agile Delivery Lead or Agile Iteration Manager in a digital environment.
• Plan and coordinate delivery from discovery through to release, optimizing time to value.
• Coach individuals and squads in adopting Agile mindsets and practices, enabling high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, and other frameworks.
• Strong capability in risk and issue identification and management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate product delivery, ensuring alignment to agile practices.
• Coach teams to improve agile maturity and collaboration, removing impediments to delivery flow.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and optimise resource utilisation.
• Support squad ramp-up at the Adelaide centre and shape new ways of working.
