Job description

Here at Investa, we create spaces that reflect how people work, live and thrive today, and how they'll want to in the future. We're an Australian diversified real estate company with more than 20 years of investment and development across office and living markets. Our purpose is to welcome the world to better places. We're people first and entrepreneurial, with a strong service ethos.

We've made it our business to understand how people want to live and work, and we practise what we preach in our own workplace. We're known for a supportive, inclusive and flexible culture, with recognition from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, the Australian Workplace Equality Index and multiple awards for workplace flexibility. We're a down-to-earth team who share your drive and have your back.

The role

We're looking for a Transformation Analyst to join our Transformation team early in their career. You'll help us improve how we work across people, process and systems. You'll learn business analysis from the ground up, work on real projects across the business and see the impact of your work.

You don't need to have all the answers. We're looking for someone curious, keen to learn and happy to dig into problems with others. You'll work alongside experienced team members who'll back you as you build your skills and confidence.

This is a maximum-term contract with the opportunity to become permanent.

What you'll do
  • Ask questions and map how things work: Learn how teams across the business operate, map current-state processes and spot where things could be simpler, faster or less risky.
  • Help design better ways of working: Work with the team and stakeholders to shape future-state processes and system improvements that are practical and make sense for the people using them.
  • Work with people across the business: Help run workshops, gather input and keep stakeholders informed, especially when the way they work is changing.
  • Help deliver change: Support business analysis across initiatives and take on more ownership of workstreams as your experience grows.
  • Experiment with AI and digital tools: Explore how AI, automation and digital tools can improve our workflows, insights and decision-making, and share what you learn with the team.
What you'll bring
  • Curiosity about how businesses work and a drive to make them work better
  • A degree (completed or nearly completed) in business, commerce, operations, organisational psychology, change management, service design, property, industrial engineering or a related field
  • Some exposure to analysis, process improvement or change, through an internship, part-time work, a uni project or a side project. Tell us about it, whatever the setting
  • A logical approach to problems, with a knack for bringing structure to messy situations
  • Confidence talking/building rapport with people at different levels, and you listen as well as you speak
  • An interest in technology, and the ability to explain it in plain language
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools, and genuine enthusiasm for finding new ways to use them
  • A growth mindset: you're open to feedback, happy to try things and comfortable learning as you go
What we offer
  • Career development: Leadership programs, education assistance, study support and professional membership fee support
  • Lifestyle: Generous parental leave, a return-to-work program and summer hours
  • Inclusive culture: A safe, welcoming environment for everyone, including people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, the LGBTQ+ community and people who are neurodivergent
  • Flexibility: More than 21 formal flexible work options, plus a supportive approach to balancing work with life's priorities
  • Health and wellness: Discounted health insurance, free health and wellbeing services, discounted fitness classes and reproductive health benefits
  • Financial: Fully funded life and TPD insurance, novated leasing and retail discounts
Not sure you tick every box?

We encourage people of all backgrounds to apply. We care more about how you think and your willingness to learn than about a perfect CV.
