Job summary

Invest Gold Coast Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a Transactions Lead to develop and deliver commercial transactions for new and planned infrastructure opportunities. You will oversee major projects from initiation to delivery, assess commercial feasibility, and advise on transaction strategies.

The role involves stakeholder engagement, governance compliance, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to optimise economic, social and environmental benefits for the city.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex transactions and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to navigate governance frameworks and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication across government, industry and private sector.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage key stakeholder relationships across Council, Government agencies and external stakeholders.
• Lead and guide strategic decision making across the project lifecycle.
• Manage consultants, contractors and service providers for quality and value.
• Develop transaction options including partnering with government or private sector delivery.
• Ensure land use, planning, design, governance and funding are addressed.
• Negotiate commercial terms for major developments with proponents.
• Monitor progress and prepare high-quality reports and recommendations.
• Provide expert advice to leadership on complex major projects and risk management.
• Support other Invest Gold Coast workstreams in investment attraction.
