Job summary

RPS, a leading infrastructure advisory firm, seeks a Director - Transactions to shape major projects across Water, Transport, Energy and Major Events in Queensland. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive commercial structuring and procurement strategy, and win high-value deals for government and private clients.

The role requires 15+ years in top-tier consultancy or government, deep knowledge of Queensland procurement frameworks, and outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 15+ years in top-tier consultancy or government agency.
• Experience in Water, Energy, Transport, or major building infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Queensland public sector procurement frameworks.
• Strong risk allocation and commercial principles knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and build client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead team and clients in strategy, development and execution of major infrastructure transactions.
• Manage project teams to deliver against budget performance.
• Lead business development for major infrastructure transactions.
• Identify and secure a set annual revenue target.
• Provide advanced advice and peer reviews.
• Coordinate transaction programs and resources.
• Engage with industry leaders to spot market trends.
• Maintain professional public profile.
