Job summary

1Recruit International Pty is seeking a Project Engineer for a high-rise, $2.5B Gold Coast mixed-use development. You will oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and top-quality outcomes.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with at least 5 years in project management within construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with project management software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timelines are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and safety standards are being met.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
• Manage project budgets and ensure costs are kept within approved limits.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure projects are utilizing the latest technologies and techniques.
