Job summary

Northern Star Surface Mining (NSSM) is seeking an experienced Training Superintendent based at Subiaco Head Office with regular site travel. You will develop, implement and standardise training and competency frameworks across NSSM operations, drawing on strong surface mining and mobile maintenance experience.

Responsibilities include creating fit-for-purpose training plans, conducting assurance audits, and coaching site and corporate leadership to embed best practices.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment required.
• Experience in surface production mining training and mobile maintenance.
• Experience with training, assessment and competency development.

Responsibilities

• Develop training frameworks and plans for NSSM.
• Implement training systems with site teams.
• Perform assurance audits for TNAs.
• Standardise training and competency processes across NSSM projects.
• Develop training packages for high-quality, practical outcomes.
• Roll out training initiatives and coach leadership.
