Job summary

Infoxchange is seeking a Training Content Designer to develop blended learning artefacts and digital guides for nonprofit IT capacity building. You will collaborate with internal subject matter experts to deliver webinars and self-paced courses, supporting learning outcomes for diverse communities.

The role involves managing a small volunteer team, coordinating with marketing, and maintaining the LMS to improve accessibility and impact.

Qualifications

  • Ability to design learner-centric digital learning experiences and resources.
  • Proven skills in delivering training content in a Learning Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a training program calendar.
  • Lead the development of training content (webinars & self-paced courses).
  • Recruit and manage a small volunteer team for training delivery.
  • Coordinate with Marketing/Communications to promote programs.
  • Facilitate training programs and refine based on feedback.
  • Maintain and prioritise improvements to the LMS.

About the role

Infoxchange is leading a cross-sector partnership to build the capability of the not-for-profit sector

through the Digital Transformation Hub (the Hub) which provides tailored resources to help more

than 10,000 organisations each year leverage digital technologies and amplify their impact.

The Hub is an integrated set of web-based Digital Guides, training materials (webinars/online

learning courses) and expert advice.

This role is responsible for working with internal and external Subject Matter Experts to support

the development and delivery of webinars, self-paced learning modules and digital guides to

improve the capability of non-profit IT managers, staff and vulnerable communities.

The role reports directly to the Digital Transformation Manager.

Key duties and responsibilities
  1. 1. Develop and manage a training program calendar that sustainably builds digital capability
  2. 2. Lead the development of training content (webinars & self-paced courses), leveraging content from Infoxchange partners, internal subject matter experts, including appropriate
  3. 3. Recruit and manage a small volunteer team to support training program delivery.
  4. 4. Work with the Marketing / Communications team so they can effectively promote the training program.
  5. 5. Manage the facilitation of training programs, learning from feedback to refine future programs and maximise impact / sustainability.
  6. 6. Manage and maintain the Learning Management System, working with development teams to prioritise and implement potential enhancements
About You
  • Ability to conceptualise, design and develop high quality blended
  • learning artefacts to support digital (ICT) adoption
  • Design high-quality learner-centric digital learning experiences and
  • resources (courseware and simulations using Articulate 360 (or similar)
  • authoring tool
  • Skilled in undertaking training needs analysis and design activities for
  • virtual instructor-led training
  • Proven skills and experience in delivery of training content in a Learning
  • Management System such as Moodle.
  • Deep knowledge of digital learning principles and practices
  • Skilled at writing guides and developing resources to support learning
  • outcomes
  • High level interpersonal and professional communication skills to work
  • effectively with individuals and teams with different levels of technical
  • knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively with digital Subject Matter Experts
  • Well-developed organisational skills, including an ability to set priorities
  • and to pursue tasks to deadline and manage multiple projects with
  • variable timelines
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Understand and have experience/ passion for working with digital
  • technologies in the not-for-profit sector (or similar).
