Job summary

Enterprise & Training Company Limited (ETC) invites applications for a Trainee Training Advisor in Deception Bay on a 12-month contract. You will undertake a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment while gaining hands-on experience delivering training and supporting students in a vocational education setting.

Working with experienced trainers, you will develop knowledge and practical skills in training delivery, learner engagement and compliance, building capability toward becoming a qualified

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate III in Individual Support.
• 2 years experience in community services sector (e.g. aged care).
• Ability to commit to completing a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
• A passion for learning and developing a career in training and assessment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to coach, support and engage learners from diverse backgrounds.
• A current QLD Blue Card
• Willingness to obtain a police check.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking and successfully completing a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment while gaining practical on the job experience.
• Assisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging, learner focused training programs and activities.
• Supporting student enrolment, induction, progression and completion activities.
• Develop training resources, learning materials and assessment tools under supervision.

We currently have a full-time opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Training Advisor in our Deception Bayoffice on a 12 month contract.

The Role - A Day in the Life of a Trainee Training Advisor.

As a Trainee Training Advisor, you will undertake a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment while gaining valuable hands‑on experience delivering training and supporting students in a vocational education environment.

Working alongside experienced trainers and assessors, you will develop the knowledge, skills and practical experience required to become a competent accredited Training Advisor. You'll progressively build your capability in training delivery, assessment, learner engagement and compliance, while contributing to positive outcomes for students and the communities we serve.
