Job summary

NSW State Emergency Service seeks a Trainer & Assessor Development Officer to strengthen the volunteer workforce and ensure sustainable training delivery. Based at an NSW SES Zone Headquarters, you will coach in training procedures, endorsements, RTO requirements, and supporting systems to promote compliant, learner-focused delivery.

This role requires travel across NSW, including out of hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
• Ability to plan and prioritise projects and coordinate training delivery.
• Practical, supportive training professional who helps others build confidence and capability.
• Experience in accredited/non-accredited training and flexible learning environments (face to face, virtual, hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the volunteer workforce to sustain training delivery.
• Recruit, retain, develop and support Trainers and Assessors.
• Coach in SES training procedures, endorsement practices, RTO requirements, templates and systems.
• Travel to locations across NSW SES including outside business hours and weekends.
