Job summary

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is seeking a Regional Volunteer Development Trainer to deliver competency-based training and skills maintenance across a broad regional area. The role involves working closely with the Operations Manager Learning & Development, OO-LT, and Unit Support Teams to build training capability.

The position requires frequent regional travel, overnight stays and weeknight/weekend delivery to engage with units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based training and skills maintenance across a regional region.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to volunteer trainers and assessors, unit training officers and deputies.
• Support onboarding and development of new volunteers; travel regionally including overnight stays.
