MAX Learning is hiring a Trainer and Assessor - Horticulture in Cairns to deliver Short Skilled courses and support learners toward employment. The role involves travel to sites in the Cairns region and delivering 5-day blocks with practical, work-ready outcomes.

You will share real-world workforce experiences, assess learner progress, and contribute to an inclusive team dedicated to building local career opportunities.

Trainer and Assessor - Horticulture - Cairns

• Deliver Short Skilled courses (5-day blocks) designed to support people with the skills needed for employment
• Roster given in advance

• Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
• Ability to identify barriers to learning to support student attendance

VET

• Must have Certificate III in Horticulture or Landscape and Construction
• Relevant qualifications and industry currency
• Must hold a current up to date TAE40116 including TAELLN411 or TAE 401A and TAEASS502 or 502A or 502B
