Job summary

Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA) in Darwin NT is hiring a Trainee OTR Tyre Fitter or qualified OTR Tyre Fitter to join our high-performing team in Berrimah. The role offers a permanent full-time position with an hourly rate and clear progression to a qualified fitter.

The position is Mon-Fri with overtime, health checks, and product discounts on Bridgestone tyres. Trainee earners get paid $38/hour while learning, with fast-track options for those with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current work rights in Australia - no restrictions.
• Current drivers licence (HR preferred)
• High Risk Forklift ticket (or ability to obtain)
• Strong commitment to safety of yourself and others
• Able to work unsupervised and in a team

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot tyre / wheel / rim damage and wear
• Deliver service in accordance with industry best practice
• Support your Supervisor to provide a quality service to BMSA customers
• Ensure all work documentation is accurate, correct and signed off
• Comply with BMSA and customer site policies and procedures

An opportunity is available a Trainee OTR (Off The Road) Tyre Fitter OR qualified OTR Tyre Fitter to join our high performing team at Berrimah, Darwin NT.

We will also consider a Trainee OTR Tyre Fitter - learn while you earn ($38/hour), progress to qualified OTR Tyre Fitter in approx 12 months (fast tracked if you have light or heavy vehicle tyre fitting experience/qualifications).

The Role

• Diagnose and troubleshoot tyre / wheel / rim damage and wear
• Deliver service in accordance with industry best practice
• Support your Supervisor to provide a quality service to BMSA customers
• Ensure all work documentation is accurate, correct and signed off
• Comply with BMSA and customer site policies and procedures
