Job summary

Tyre Doctor in Australia is seeking a motivated Trainee OTR Tyre Fitter to learn and grow with our team. The role combines three days in the workshop with two days on site, working alongside experienced fitters and gaining practical field experience.

You'll develop tyre fitting skills, tyre inspection routines, safety practices, and the ability to handle tyres and equipment. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential as you progress through training and career development.

Main Duties

What your week will look like

This is a Monday to Friday role, giving you a mix of workshop and on-site experience:

• 3 days in the workshop - learning tyre fitting, inspections, equipment and safe work practices


• 2 days on site - working alongside experienced OTR Tyre Fitters and gaining practical field experience

You'll learn how to:

• Safely remove and fit OTR tyres


• Inspect tyres and identify damage, wear and potential hazards


• Use tyre fitting tools and equipment safely


• Assist experienced fitters with field service and on-site tyre fitting


• Load, unload and handle tyres and equipment


• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop and work area


• Work safely around heavy vehicles and mobile equipment
