Job summary

Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service on Thursday Island invites a Radiographer with CT experience to join as a HP3 Trainee Sonographer. This full-time two-year training opportunity includes a Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography and hands-on work in a remote hospital setting.

You'll be mentored by senior clinicians, work Monday to Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with after-hours on-call CT/Radiography duties.

Qualifications

• Current CT experience is required.
• Willingness to train in ultrasound and develop sonography skills.
• Radiographer background with interest in remote healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Train as a Sonographer over a two-year program.
