Queensland Health on Thursday Island is offering a full-time HP3 Trainee Sonographer position, a two-year training opportunity to complete your Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography while gaining hands-on experience in a remote hospital. The workload spans primary care, emergency presentations, inpatient services and complex remote health.

You will be mentored by senior sonographers and clinicians throughout your training journey.

Qualifications

• Radiographer with current CT experience and a passion for learning Ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Mentored by senior sonographers and clinicians throughout training.
• Complete Graduate Diploma in Medical Sonography during the two-year program.
• Participate in after-hours CT and Radiography on-call roster.
