Job summary

Reid Stockfeeds is seeking a Trainee Miller to work under a Senior Miller, developing skills to produce stockfeed following proper processes and procedures at Reid’s high standards. The role is based in Trafalgar, Victoria, with a focus on hygiene, production, quality, and safety within a busy production site.

You will complete training modules, learn the Genius platform, and collaborate with the team to achieve competency milestones within the first months of employment.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Trainee Miller, to work under the supervision of a Senior Miller, the key role of a Miller (level 1) is to develop skills and competencies to take responsibility for production of stockfeed following correct processes and procedures, at the required standard.

Your First 30, 60 & 90 Days

Days 1-30 |

• Build relationships with key stakeholders within your team.
• Understand our production process and your key responsibilities
• Willingness to learn and develop in the industry

Days 31-60 |

• Understanding and adhering to RSF’s policies and procedures
• Ensure hygiene standards are kept and maintained across the site
• Achievement of Level 1 Competencies as per the Reid Miller Competency Matrix

Days 61-90 |

• Commitment to training
• Completion of first 2 FeedSafe modules.
• Become competent using Genius platform
