Job summary

TP ICAP Australia on Castlereagh Street, Sydney, seeks to learn broking from the ground up on our Forward FX desk. You will support brokers, input trades into trading systems, and resolve trade queries while gaining real-time pricing and market information.

Ideal candidates have strong numeracy, the ability to multitask, and a degree in economics or finance. Previous sales experience is a plus; a dynamic, proactive mindset is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote TP ICAP as a company.
• Provide complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk.
• Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems.
• Resolve any trade queries and discrepancies promptly.
• Keep trade records up to date.
• Update real-time manual/electronic whiteboards with market data.
• Provide input on projects for brokers and traders.
• Provide live quotes through the link line to internal regional offices.
• Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.
• Understand the traded products and keep up to date with new products/procedures.
• Manage on-boarding of new clients with the Client On-Boarding team.
