Job summary

Busy Bees at Ashdale in Western Australia is seeking a motivated Trainee Educator for a part-time position (minimum 15 hours). You will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

You will support educators, contribute to a safe learning environment, and build strong relationships with children and families while developing your professional skills within Busy Bees’ Bee Safe framework.

Qualifications

• Commitment to child safety and Busy Bees values.
• Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Ability to obtain a valid Working with Children Check for WA.

Responsibilities

• Support educators in delivering engaged, play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the team.
• Support daily routines, transitions and supervision of children.
