Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd is hiring a Trainee Educator at Tamworth, NSW. This full-time role offers hands-on experience while you study for a nationally recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.

You’ll assist in play-based learning, support safe and inclusive environments, and build strong relationships with children and families while working towards your qualification and relevant checks.

Qualifications

• Commitment to child safety and Busy Bees values.
• Enrolment in or completion of a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Ability to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check.
• Basic communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic.
• Experience with children (babysitting/volunteering) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Trainee Educator | $30.97 per hour | Tamworth, NSW

We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Tamworth, located at 2/1A Wirraway Street, Tamworth NSW 2340, on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

What you’ll do

• Support educators in delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Support daily routines, transitions, and supervision of children
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Ability to obtain a valid Working with Children Check for NSW
• Basic communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• Previous experience with children (e.g., babysitting, volunteering) is advantageous but not essential
