Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Roxburgh Park invites applications for a Trainee Educator. You will support safe environments for children and families while working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, with guidance from the Centre Leadership Team.

Applicants must have a willingness to study, permanent work rights in Australia, good time management, teamwork, and a positive attitude toward early years education. Working with Children Check is required or obtainable.

Centre:Roxburgh Park - Sommerville Drive

Employment Type:Part Time / 25 hours per week / 18 month Fixed Term Contract

Pay:$22.75 - $31.36ph

• Receive Fee Free Training – Goodstart will cover all related RTO enrolment and training fees

As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart, you will be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their school journey. With the support of your Centre Leadership Team, Teachers, and Educators, you will be empowered to forge your career whilst working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.

You will achieve this by:

To be eligible for a Traineeship you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificateother than in childcare will still be eligible.

In addition, you must have:

• The willingness and motivation to study towards aCertificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• A permanent right to work in Australia
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Interest in early years education
• Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
• Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and RubellaandWhooping Cough (Pertussis)(or be willing to receive)
