Job summary

Kinetic is seeking new drivers to be the face of Australasia’s largest and fastest-growing bus operator. The program offers paid training to upgrade your licence, followed by a supportive induction and 12 months of on-the-job training to gain a national qualification.

We value energy, a customer-first attitude and reliability. Roles are based in Portsmith or Smithfield, with great pay from AUD 45.29 per hour and ongoing development in a dynamic transport network.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public.
• Willingness to obtain a Queensland Driving Authorisation.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical checks and history review.
• Australian Work Rights.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and ticket sales.
• Drive buses on general routes, charters and events.
• Participate in the driver training and induction program.

We’re searching for new drivers to be the face of Kinetic. Help us take people where they need to go and join Australasia’s largest and fastest-growing bus operator.

Our Women Up Front Driver Training Program offers an opportunity to become part of our team. We pay you while we train you to get your licence upgraded to an MR licence, followed by a five-week supportive and hands on induction training program with a mix of classroom and on-road training. You'll then have the support and training required over the next 12 months to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

With a strong focus on customer service and providing a safe journey for our passengers, our bus drivers are fully trained to play a vital part in all facets of customer service, ticket sales and a range of bus services including general routes, charters and special events driving.
