What You'll Be Doing As a Trailer Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and repairing trailer equipment


• Diagnosing and rectifying faults on brake, suspension and air systems


• Replacing bearings, hubs, axles and associated trailer components


• Performing general mechanical maintenance and reconditioning work


• Completing repairs in accordance with safety and quality standards


• Undertaking fabrication and welding repairs where required


• Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation


• Supporting a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment

What We're Looking For You may possess:

• Experience in trailer, heavy vehicle, automotive, agricultural equipment, plant or transport maintenance


• A trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive, Engineering Fabrication or a related field (advantageous but not essential)


• Experience working with brakes, suspensions, axles and air systems


• Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)


• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills


• A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship


• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
