The ideal candidate will ensure that all hydraulic systems and components are functioning properly, assist with weight distribution, and handle paperwork. Qualifications

• Current Australian Drivers License is required.
• National Police Clearance must be valid for the last 12 months.
• Ability to apply for an MSIC card.
• Ability to follow instructions and show initiative.
• Team player who works well in a crew.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all components and hydraulic systems are functional.
• Adjust trailers for weight distribution.
• Assist with jacking, pumping, and weighing work.
• Assist with jacking, pumping, carriage, winch and weighing tasks.
• Help plan disassembly and transport of trailers for lifts or moves.
• Complete and submit required paperwork to supervisor.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mammoet is looking for a Trailer Operator to support our heavy haulage transport operations from our Port Hedland Depot throughout the Pilbara and across Australia if/when required.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Ensures all components and hydraulic systems are in good working condition
• Adjust trailers to ensure even distribution of weight across all axles
• Assists with jacking, pumping, carriage, winch and weighing work before, during and after movement
• Assists in planning disassembly of trailers for transport or for the next scheduled lift or move
• Completes all required paperwork and submits them to the supervisor
• Able to pilot wide loads on highway and sit as require

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Australian Drivers License - current
• National Police Clearance - 12 months in date
• Ability to apply for an MSIC card
• Ability to follow instructions and show initiative
• Work well in a team environment
