Job summary

Australian Vocational Training is seeking a passionate Trainer/Assessor to deliver the AUSTroads program in Victoria. Based in Melbourne region, this casual role involves developing and delivering traffic control and management training to diverse learners.

You will assess student progress, keep detailed records, stay current with regulations, and collaborate with the team to improve course content. Experience with AUSTROADS-aligned training and TTA qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• TTM qualifications aligned with AUSTROADS requirements.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment completed.
• Demonstrated traffic control/traffic management industry experience.
• Knowledge of Australian standards and safety regulations.
• Experience delivering AUSTROADS-aligned training programs.
• Experience in an RTO environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training on traffic control and management procedures for diverse learners
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress to meet competency standards
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and assessment outcomes
• Update knowledge of traffic management regulations and best practices
• Collaborate with the team to improve course content and delivery
• Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills
