Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, is hiring a Work Zone Barricade Servicer to support heavy civil projects in Sydney. You will assist the Foreman with traffic control, sign fabrication and the installation of temporary and permanent devices in active work zones.

This role requires physical readiness, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strict adherence to safety policies. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions is expected; occasional truck operation may be required.

Qualifications

• Move through a construction site with potential obstacles and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe activities to supervisor.
• Provide leadership to others through example and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, erect and maintain temporary traffic control devices, including signs and barricades.
• May operate a truck during traffic control operations.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment and work area.
• Use power and air tools.
• Assist in other operations as designated by the supervisor.
