Job summary

CITIC CLSA is seeking an IT Trade Desk Support Analyst to cover maternity leave in a high-availability trading environment. This on-site role requires serving as the primary contact for internal users, delivering expert guidance, and supporting Windows/Office 365 ecosystems and trading platforms.

You will collaborate with global IT teams on projects, manage incidents, and ensure security compliance while maintaining detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT support within financial services.
• Strong desktop support, enterprise IT systems, and network infrastructure knowledge.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and VDI.
• Experience supporting end-users in high-volume trading environments.
• Familiarity with data centre operations, change management, and financial systems infrastructure.
• Excellent communication to translate technical info to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Bloomberg/IRESS/Refinitiv is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level IT support for desktops, mobile devices, conferencing tools, and peripherals for Sydney and remote sites.
• Act as Incident Manager for outages, with timely escalation and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows OS, Office 365, and line-of-business applications.
• Collaborate on global projects such as Windows 11 rollout and hardware refreshes.
• Manage daily IT activities: backups, patches, virus updates, security compliance, and documentation.
• Liaise with vendors for support and warranty issues; manage asset inventory records.
• Support trading systems, market data platforms, and CRM tools with engineering teams.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and access rights management.
• Assist with data centre rack/stack and network support.
• Provide conference room, AV, and remote meeting support.
• Document procedures and schedule maintenance; participate in cross-functional IT projects.
