Job summary

Veolia’s Water team in Lithgow, NSW, is seeking a hands-on worker to operate hook lift trucks and support trades with maintenance and equipment upgrades. No water industry experience is required as on-the-job training is provided.

You will perform routine equipment checks, help keep the site clean, and record maintenance details while following site procedures and safety rules. The role offers permanent full-time work, a predictable roster, and allowances.

Qualifications

• HR licence and practical, hands-on approach.
• Ability to operate site equipment safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and follow site procedures.
• Experience in an industrial, processing or maintenance environment is useful.

Responsibilities

• Operate hook lift trucks and site equipment with proper training.
• Assist tradespeople with maintenance and upgrades.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report faults.
