Apex Engineering Technology Group in Malaga, WA is seeking a Trade Assistant for a full-time, 38-hour week role with overtime opportunities. Immediate start available for the right candidate. You will work with a supportive team on maintenance, packing, and hands-on trades assistance across our workshop.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, NSW? (note: Australia) working rights, a valid licence, and applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Must pass a medical & National Police Check.
• Minimum 2 years in the manufacturing industry.

Responsabilités

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our team in Malaga. This is a full-time position, working a 38-hour week, with overtime opportunities available.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and progressive team. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Performing maintenance on machines
• Conducting pre-checks of equipment
• Packing completed goods
• Unpacking supplies
• Painting
• Assisting tradespeople as necessary
• Actively learning and developing your skills on all different operations.

To be considered for the role you will need to possess the following skills, experience and attributes

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
• Neat and tidy appearance
• Organised, self-driven, motivated and shown initiative
• Must be able to pass a medical & provide a National Police Check
• Must be able to provide at least 2 professional references.
• 2+ years in the manufacturing industry
• LF Licence
• Current High risk work licensing for Dogging
• First Aid certificate

This is a full-time position, working a 38-hour week, with overtime opportunities available. Hourly rate: $25 - $40 depending on skills, experience, and ability to learn.
