Job summary

Labourforce is recruiting an All‑Round Factory General Hand / Trades Assistant for a busy industrial facility in Kings Park. The role requires operating forklifts, assisting electricians and fitters, and carrying out general hand and warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are Monday to Friday 5am–3pm and Saturdays 5am–12pm, with overtime opportunities. Immediate start for the right candidate. Own transport preferred and a strong focus on safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license (e.g., LF in Australia).
• Experience operating forklifts and using warehouse equipment.
• Physically fit as manual handling will be involved.
• Knowledge of procedures and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills or experience.
• Hand and power tool experience (High Desirable).
• Mechanically minded (High Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts (counterbalance) to move goods safely.
• Assisting tradesmen – electricians and fitters onsite.
• Using hand and power tools.
• Assisting Maintenance team, taking spare parts and other materials.
• Spray painting handrails and walkways – via spray gun.
• Inventory control, including stocktaking and cycle counts.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the factory.
• Moving materials within the factory and yard as required.
• General hand work, assisting other areas within the business as required when all jobs in the factory have been completed.

Due to the nature of the business you will be required to work the hours stated above this will include Saturday work every week.
