Job summary

Grosvenor in Melbourne is seeking an entry-level team member to support passive fire testing and installation activities. You will assist with testing of passive fire protection systems, carry out general cleaning around penetrations, and help tradespeople with a range of fire system tasks on commercial sites.

Ideal candidates hold a current driver’s license and a WHS White Card, with willingness to work outside normal hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license required.
• WEH safety induction/White Card required for site access.
• Willingness to work outside standard hours, including weekends.
• Experience in Passive Fire systems desirable.
• Experience in commercial buildings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing passive fire protection systems.
• Perform general cleaning around penetrations and passive works.
• Support tradespeople with installation of fire systems and extinguishers.
• Assist with repair and maintenance of passive fire systems.
• Collect gear from suppliers for use by tradespeople.

About the position

• Assisting with the testing of passive fire protection systems
• Performing general cleaning works associated with penetrations and passive works.
• Supporting tradesman with the installation of various fire systems and extinguishers
• Assisting with the repair and maintenance of passive fire systems
• Collection of gear from suppliers for use by tradesman

Desired Skills and Experience

What will you bring?

• Current Drivers License
• WHS Construction Induction Card
• Experience in similar roles and a willingness to work outside of normal business hours i.e.; potentially the requirement to work weekends.
• Experience gained within the Passive Fire sector is desirable
• Exposure to working within commercial buildings is desirable.
