Job summary

Grosvenor in Melbourne is seeking a Fire Technician with a strong background in Fire Service Testing to join our mobile team. You will test and maintain fire systems across varied client sites, including offices, high rises, retail, and universities, and handle service, maintenance and breakdowns.

The role emphasizes testing accuracy, autonomy, and exceptional communication with colleagues and customers, while using innovative software to deliver data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background and experience in Fire Service Testing.
• Comfortable working in custodial settings at various justice precincts including Barwon, Ravenhall, West VIC.
• Proven testing and fault finding skills.
• Confidence with computers and programs.
• Curiosity, enjoy autonomy and be proactive.
• Proven ability to achieve targets with a focus on quality.
• Ability to work within a team or autonomously.
• Awesome communication skills – interact positively with colleagues and customers alike!

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain fire systems in accordance with required codes.

Grosvenor are looking for a Fire Technician who specialises in Testing with commercial experience to join the team based from our office in Melbourne – this is a mobile role servicing a number of clients.

Your role as a Fire Tester is critical – you’ll test and maintain all fire systems in accordance with required codes.

Service, Maintenance, and breakdowns are all part of your daily routine, with your own allocated run across a variety of sites including High Rises, Offices, Retail and Universities.

Work in a kick ass team, using innovative software to give you the data that push you past the competition.
