Job summary

Tecside Group is sourcing skilled electrical trades assistants for a busy Yatala manufacturing facility. You will assemble LV switchboards and control panels for major industry projects across Australia, reading schematics and wiring MCCs/PLC panels. Safe, quality workmanship and a team focus are essential.

Candidates with foreign qualifications or part qualifications in Australia are highly desirable. Day and afternoon shifts are available with casual rates starting from $50.93 per hour plus

Qualifications

• Electrical trades experience with switchboards and control panels.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret drawings.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship; team-oriented and autonomous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and manufacture LV switchboards and control systems for major projects.
• Wiring MCCs, PLC panels, distribution boards and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to ensure correct connections.
• Contribute to modular switchboard construction and testing.

What You’ll Be Working On:

You’ll play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of high-quality LV switchboards and control systems for major industry projects across Australia.

Skills required:

• Assembly and wiring of LV switchboards and control panels
• Or proven experience in LV, HV Switchrooms or substations.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Modular switchboard construction (CUBIC, Elsteel)
• Wiring MCCs, PLC Panels, Distribution Boards and Control Panels
