We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant to support the maintenance at South Walker Creek Mine. This role is ideal for someone with prior mining or heavy industry experience who is safety-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting tradespeople with mechanical and maintenance tasks
• Tool handling, parts fetching, and equipment preparation
• General labouring, housekeeping, and workshop support
• Supporting breakdowns, planned maintenance, and shutdown activities
• Adhering to all site safety procedures and WHS standards

Role Requirements:

• Current S11

• Previous Trades Assistant experience in mining, resources, or heavy industry
• Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices
• 7/7 dayshift only roster
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical required
