Job summary

Golding Contractors is seeking a reliable Trades Assistant to support maintenance at South Walker Creek Mine. You will assist tradespeople, handle tools, fetch parts and prep equipment, and help with housekeeping and workshop support.

You must meet site safety requirements, pass pre-employment medical and drug tests, and hold relevant tickets; a 7/7 roster offers long-term stability and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current S11
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Working at Heights, Confined spaces, Elevated Work Platform
• Forklift and Franna Ticket

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradespeople with mechanical and maintenance tasks
• Tool handling, parts fetching, and equipment preparation
• General labouring, housekeeping, and workshop support
• Supporting breakdowns, planned maintenance, and shutdown activities
• Adhering to all site safety procedures and WHS standards
