Job summary

Central Highlands Water in Ballarat, Victoria, is seeking a Trade Waste and Backflow Prevention Advisor to lead compliance and customer engagement in trade waste and backflow programs.

You will ensure regulatory obligations are met, build strong relationships with commercial customers, and support programs to protect water assets and the environment. A Certificate IV or higher and solid technical and interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in a relevant discipline is required.
• Ability to quickly develop knowledge to perform key responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of trade waste management and treatment process risks.
• Proficient with a range of business applications/computers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are aware of and comply with approvals and regulations relating to trade waste and backflow prevention.
• Be the main point of contact for customers, managing relationships and programs in trade waste and backflow prevention.
• Ensure regulatory obligations and compliance frameworks for trade waste management and backflow prevention are met to protect assets and the environment.
• Support engagement programs with customers related to trade waste, backflow prevention and water efficiency.
