Job summary

Sunshine Mitre 10 in Bundaberg is seeking trade sales personnel for our trade division. You will support trade customers and assist with product selection, while contributing to a friendly, family‑oriented team.

Prior building industry experience is valued, and a forklift license is preferred or obtainable before starting. Responsibilities include unloading and storing timber and building materials, picking orders, and using product knowledge to advise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware and building sector is preferred.
• Forklift license or ability to attain prior to start is desirable.
• Self-motivated with a strong team focus and collaborative attitude.

Job Description

We are looking for Trade sales persons for our trade division at our Bundaberg store. This role will suit someone who has previous experience in the building and construction industry and is ready to use their skills and knowledge to support our Trade customers.

The Role

• Customer Service, assisting clients with selection of general building products
• Unloading & storage of Heavy & Light Timbers & Building materials
• Picking Orders
• Engage with customers, providing expert advice on products
• Work with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions, using your knowledge of products you will take a full approach to selling.

Ideally you will have

• Knowledge and understanding of the Hardware & Building sector
• Forklift license (or ability to attain prior to start)
• Self-motivated with a strong team focus.
