Job summary

Randstad in partnership with Mount Isa Mines seeks a qualified plumber for a permanent role in a major mining operation in Mount Isa, Queensland. You will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems across the plant, on a 12-hour shift schedule with relocation support for Australian candidates.

Requirements include a current QLD Plumber Licence, White Card, and proven experience in commercial/industrial plumbing.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Plumber Licence.
• White Card (Construction Induction).
• Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial plumbing work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and equipment in accordance with Australian standards.
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Complete job documentation and reports as required.
• Changing out water filters in mining area.
• Check and repair RO units at the above locations.
• Repair water leaks, taps, grease traps etc.

All trade applicants are required to relocate to the Centre of Queensland, Town of Mount Isa.

Plumbers are involved with the maintenance, repairs, installation, and component changing of the plant equipment.

Shift: 12 hour shifts
