Job summary

CoStar Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Trade Platform Team on Domain's property marketplace platform in Australia.

You'll build and support systems for subscriptions, billing, entitlements, and agency integrations using C# and .NET, delivering scalable, reliable software that powers customer experiences and revenue generation. You'll collaborate with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders in an Agile environment, driving high-quality code, RESTful API design, and

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and design principles.
• Experience working with SQL databases and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience delivering solutions that are scalable, reliable and maintainable.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within Agile teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• A passion for continuous learning and improving engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions using C# and .NET.
• Support systems responsible for customer billing, usage charging, and subscription management.
• Build functionality that enables premium product features, including listing prioritisation and entitlements.
• Maintain and improve agency booking APIs and integrations.
• Design, develop and support scalable applications from concept through to production.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to deliver customer value.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve production issues across critical systems.
• Contribute to code quality, testing, security and engineering best practices.
• Participate in a shared on-call roster supporting business-critical applications.
• Continuously improve platform performance, reliability and scalability.
