Job summary

Reece Fire in Townsville is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to join our team. You will deliver products to customers, assist with trade counter sales, and support branch operations while ensuring a safe and organized environment.

The role involves driving, stock handling, and providing product information to engineers, project managers and tradespeople across the region. MR Licence is preferred or individuals with a current driver’s licence who want to obtain MR licensing will be supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery driving, warehousing, retail sales or customer service.
• Valid driver’s licence (MR Licence preferred) and willingness to obtain MR licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers using a company vehicle.
• Assist with trade counter sales and customer service.
• Handle stock, pick-pack, and dispatching goods.

You'll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain fire safety protection, while supporting the day-to-day operations that keep the branch running smoothly.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, with a large portion of the role focused on delivering products to customers throughout the region. When you're back in branch, you'll assist with trade counter sales, customer service, stock handling and general branch operations.An MR Licence is preferred but not essential .
