Job summary

Reece Group is hiring a Trade Counter Assistant to support plumbers and tradespeople across North & Inner Brisbane. The role offers full-time, permanent work with comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing development opportunities.

You will handle customer inquiries, quotes, and stock management, while delivering outstanding service at a busy branch. A helpful, tech-savvy attitude and a valid driver’s license are important, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to accurately pick orders and maintain shop floor displays.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and information about products.
• Provide quotes in-person and over the phone.

About the opportunity

As part of the Trade Counter team, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for residential, commercial and renovation projects that keep QLD growing.

We have a mix of opportunities across the North & Inner Brisbane area including involving full time, permanent roles working in customer service, warehousing, delivery driving, or as a general all-rounder!

No plumbing experience? No Problem.

Your day-to-day

A typical day involves:

• Providing customer service and information about products.
• Providing quotes both in-person and over the phone.
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment.
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
• Continue upskilling with tailored on-the-job training initiatives.

• Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learn new systems.
• Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential.
