Customer Service Assistant - Retail Trade Industry

As part of the Trade Counter team in one of our branches, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for residential, commercial and renovation projects that keep QLD growing.

We have a mix of opportunities across the Cairns region including Full Time, Permanent roles working in customer service, warehousing, delivery driving, or as an all-rounder!

Cairns, Smithfield, Edmonton

No plumbing experience? No Problem - this isn't necessary for one of our branch roles, and we believe skills can be taught. Whether you're new to the industry or looking for your next career opportunity, we’ll set you up for success with:

A typical day involves:

Providing customer service and information about products.

Providing quotes both in-person and over the phone.

Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities.

Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment.

Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.

Continue upskilling with tailored on-the-job training initiatives.

Previous experience in customer service and enjoys helping people both in person and over the phone.

Accurately pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate.

Tech-savvy and adaptable to learn new systems.

Holds a clean, valid driver’s licence. Valid Forklift licence is ideal but not essential.
