Job summary

King Living in Perth is seeking a senior commercial professional to own a defined trade portfolio across Perth, coach showroom teams and drive partner relationships from briefing to close. You will lead events, manage onboarding and maintain accurate CRM data to enable consistent pipeline execution.

You will report outcomes on portfolio growth, conversion and delivery quality, while collaborating with national trade leadership and showroom teams to embed trade as a core capability.

Qualifications

• Senior trade sales or business development experience with portfolio accountability.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to coach internal teams.
• Data-literate with CRM and reporting tools.
• Experience in furniture/interiors or A&D is a plus.

This is a senior commercial role with genuine accountability — and the autonomy to match.

You own a defined portfolio of high-value trade partners across Perth, and you are measured on outcomes: portfolio growth, conversion, partner depth and execution quality. You will also work closely with our Perth showroom teams to embed trade as a core capability rather than a parallel channel — coaching, influencing and holding people accountable.

What You Will Own

Your Trade Portfolio

Grow a defined portfolio of high-value trade partners across Perth. Prioritise ruthlessly, manage pipeline with discipline, and drive sustainable residential trade growth with selective commercial and developer opportunities.

Showroom Integration

Coach Design Consultants on trade selling and specification-led conversations, and work with Showroom Managers to set clear expectations on follow-up, urgency and accountability.

Partner Relationships

Be the senior point of contact across the full project lifecycle. Manage service issues and escalations with credibility and care, and close the loop every time.

Events & Market Presence

Own the commercial outcomes of trade events, activations and roadshows, and represent King Living across industry forums, design bodies and trade networks.

Reporting & Onboarding

Keep CRM records accurate, turn pipeline data into clear actions, and lead structured onboarding that upholds King Trade program discipline.

Who You Are

• Proven senior trade sales or business development experience, ideally in furniture, interiors or A+D
• A track record growing a defined portfolio with full commercial accountability
• Strong commercial judgement — you prioritise partners, time and opportunities with discipline
• Data-literate and confident with CRM, Power BI and reporting tools
• Able to coach, influence and hold internal teams accountable, constructively
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Comfortable in complexity and ambiguity while keeping structure and discipline
• Based in Perth with a valid driver’s licence, and available to travel regularly across the region
