Job summary

Tusk Group in Rowville is seeking a hands-on Trade Assistant / Mechanical Assembler for a casual position. You will assemble products with hand and power tools, with occasional MIG welding on small components, contributing across production stages and upholding quality and safety standards.

Hours are Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays; there is potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate. Immediate start available.

Trade Assistant / Mechanical Assemble – Casual Position (Rowville)

Assembler / Occasional Welder – Casual Position (Rowville)
$33.85 per hour | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start | Ongoing with Full-Time Potential

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of ladders, proudly delivering high-quality, Australian-made products. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Assembler/Welder to join their production team at their Rowville facility.

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality products using a range of hand and power tools, some welding of small components to precise specifications however a very small part of the role, and contributing to various stages of the production process. You will be involved across assembly and welding functions, helping to maintain efficient workflow and uphold the company’s strong reputation for quality and safety.

Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
• Casual ongoing with the potential to transition to full-time

Pay Rate

• $33.85 per hour
