Avida in NSW seeks reliable Trade Assistants/Assemblers to join our hands-on team. You will assemble vehicle fit-outs, prepare metal parts, and handle cabinet edging in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly/manufacturing environments.
• Cabinet edging, cutting and preparation work.
• Cabinetmaking/joinery exposure.
• Metal cutting and workshop fabrication support.
• Hand and power tool operation.
• 12V installation for automotive, caravan or RV.
• Electrical assembly line work (non-licensed).
• Warehouse experience and forklift (licence helpful).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

About the Role:

• Assembly of components and vehicle fit outs

• Cutting and preparation of metal components in our van manufacturing workshop

• Cabinet edging and cutting of cabinetry components

• Use of hand and power tools

• Following work instructions and drawings

Skills & Experience

We are interested in applicants with experience in one or more of the following:

• Assembly or manufacturing environments

• Cabinet edging, cutting, and preparation

• 12V automotive, caravan, RV, or accessory installation
